When I started reading this, I figured Porsche was ashamed of selling such an ugly ****** car.

Seat belts eh? O well, this was their chance to repent to the auto enthusiasts of the world.

So funny how people forgive import recalls and crucify domestic recalls.

Ummm, domestic cars are built by overpaid Union people who have driven the domestic auto industry out of existence. They SHOULD be held to a higher standard since your tax dollars just bailed them out.

^ agree, a older lady drives one where i live and i think the design is fairly unique, the lines do stand out from other cars on the road

LOL...how could a company that sell as pretty as a car as the Cayman also sell the Cayenne and the Panamera (dumb name too). Not every 4 door can look like a AM Rapide, but Porsche really has to rethink their front engined cars corporate design philosophy.

Why?

Sales were/are good. Many people like the Panamera's looks in person. Some people even think the Cayenne looks better than many SUVs.

You do know they have unions outside the US, right? In the auto industry? And generally foreign auto makers get more assistance from their governments than the US auto industry has ever gotten?

No, I'm guessing you never thought about that.

But those unions don't consider overdrawing on credit to buy a nicer car when times are tough to be a sign of your commitment to your work. That's the REAL difference.
