Sounds great but completely not a production car with the straight-cut gears. All that blow-off chatter is usually captured within the exhaust for production cars. Sounded a bit like they are using anti-lag at points, as well?

Apparently it's a rally car.

That car looks cool! 124 has been on my radar as our second car... Do the 124 and Miata drive the same?

Nope. Generally, the consensus seems to be that the Miata is more responsive and edgy to drive while the 124 is a little more mature and easier to drive (but ultimately not quite as fast around a track). The Miata requires a better driver to be faster.

Still one ugly car... I don't get the hate for how the new miata looks but people think this looks good...

is it just suspension settings that make them different?

Not sure about the suspension (though it's likely to be tuned to be more "GT"), but the front overhang is longer on the Fiat. That combined with the different engine may contribute to different weight transfer characteristics.

Agreed. Miata looks great IMO. LED strips are nice accents, but LED outlines look like cheap x-mas lights to me.
