We made our way to Rodeo Drive and were in stop and go traffic in the heart of the drive when a guy parked in a convertible Bentley started staring at the car. We drove on and found parking and started shopping. At our second store the guy from the Bentley was in there. He comes up to me and starts asking questions about the car. He asked me what it was and I said S2000 and started asking about performance, hp, etc. Eventually he asked me who made it and when I said, Honda, I wish I could have had his reaction on film. I think he threw up a little in his mouth and then politely said, "Well that car is gorgeous, but there is no way I could be seen driving around in a Honda". Typical American brand whore. Americans try to show everyone around them what income class they are in (or pretending to be in) by what they drive.

I don't know what annoyed me most. The way people butchered the name or that they couldn't guess who made the car whose name was clearly blazoned on the giant wall behind it.

I think the Genesis looks like a piece of turd with 4 wheels on it. I am not too much of a brand-whore, but Hyundai has never in the history of making cars made one that looked good to me. The Tiburon is decent... if you have a vagina.
