I can only find times of the MANual transmission stang gt coupe online, not the auto coupe gt. Most magazines seem to show manual gt 1/2 second faster in the 1/4 mile than the s2000. But does anybody know how fast the auto transmission version would be? I would guess 13.9 would be the fastest and 14.0-14.2 would be normal. Of course it has more power but Im not sure.

Anybody have info?

I've seen times for the auto around 13.5. Can't recall which mag but the auto is pretty quick dispite being an auto.

Im afraid to get my car and license taken away for street racing. Kids like the driver of the stang think it is a "pussy" thing to do to go race at a legitimate track. Thanks for your help.

If they don't want to race at a track, well, then they don't want to race that bad (depending on distance to the closest track). To be fair, it can get kind of expensive to race at a track just for a grudge, but far cheaper than the consequences of getting caught on the street doing it.

There's nothing to be gained being a smartass if you won't race on the street and they won't race on a track. But if you are stock, you are not in a position to call their car slow.
