Damn, he was just involved in one with the rocket car a couple years ago. I bet this shook him up! Hope this doesn't curb his appetite for what he's doing on the show. Glad he didn't get seriously hurt.

I wonder what the cause of losing control was... unexpected power delivery due to electric, or unpredictable handling behavior due to some computer interference thus causing a driver error or incorrect response.

Looked like he went into the corner waayyyy too hot. Hope he has a speedy recovery.

Driving way too fast for the curve, by my eye. It's an amazing machine but you only get so much grip from the tires. He was sliding already before he tried to make the last corner. He was way behind on his steering inputs and so he was "done" way before he actually crashed - he'd lost control already by the time he got to the last corner. Too much car, too little driver (pun intended)....

Wow! Seeing that the car burnt to a crisp, would electric cars be more prone to catching fire in an accident? Serious question, because I have no idea?!?!?!
