I'd still take the Corvette though.

Brand new vs 5 year old model... And a $20k price difference. I guess I'm not that impressed.

I think you can see one in a separate thread nearby. Although it's a bit mangled...

I'm impressed. To answer a question, presumably the F10 is the newest BMW 5 series. I guess BMW used up the E series numbers and moved on to F's. IIRC this car has a turbo motor hence the response to ECU changes. Yes, we are talking stock vs modified but it's still impressive since the Z06 is fast in any stock form regardless of what excuses we might make for age, spring type, interior, non-paddle shifters etc.

Im not that shocked, I mean it's a decent sized turbo, with a large displacement engine that is then tuned............ I mean, There are 1.8L Civics that can do the same to a stock Z06, so I am not surprised this car can. Nice car though

Isn't it saying that the z06 has the aftermarket ECU? I wonder what the WHP is on the Z06. They are dead even to 155mph (limiter), just depends who gets the jump.

The Corvette would leve the turbo-lagged BMW on the line so they are doing roll-ons?

Either way, I've never been impressed with drag racing. Throw some curves into the mix if you want to find a good driving car.
