Default RSX Type S or SRT-4

Alright well I am addicted to power, a person that would indeed sacrafice build quality to some extent. I have driven an RSX Type S, quite a few actually and really liked the car, the feeling of the 6 speed is WOW, the looks of the car= WOW however I know that if I were to drive the SRT-4 before I drove an RSX it would make the RSX feel slow as crap. I have a budget of $15,000 and the SRT-4 can easily be had for that price with lower miles, the motor is strong as hell as well as the transmission, I know a couple guys making 500whp on the stock tranny and it holds up just fine, though the build quality is Dodge etc etc it is still a LOT of bang for the buck, I love turbo and it's mod potential. I have heard a couple guys with RSX Type S's running 14's with them, they say stock but is there a trick to getting an RSX into 14's with little mods? Hondata? Something of the sort because that would justify my purchase of the Acura a little bit more. I have driven both and the SRT is gobs of fun, the RSX is sexy but it wouldn't even be a race stock for stock or mod for mod unless the RSX was turbo and I wouldn't have the $5,000k to go forced induction with the Type S.

an srt-4 will always be a neon with a turbo. not to mention a domestic. remember domestics lose their value by the day. K20 (rsx-type s motor) will always be a reliable and strong motor, while the domestic engine will take a shit in a year or two.

IMO...i'd stick to honda...

No offense but are you gonna keep asking opinions on the SRT-4 vs. something or are you actually gonna buy a car? If you really are interested in buying one of the cars you mentioned then you would probably get more feedback on a forum that isn't dedicated to the S2000 for the most part.

SRT aka Neon will tear up and fall apart in your driveway a few years after rolling off the assembly line. But as these guys have said...

This guy wants everybody's opinions here and it seems like we won't convince him otherwise. His name describes what he is biased upon anyways.

Let's put it this way.... The Titanic was considered one of the most "grandest ships" of its time... Yet it sunk on its first voyage. Do you really want to "Grab life by the horns"?

Stick with the RSX-S. Speed isn't everything.
