I had a faulty rear passenger seat buckle on our XE (upon delivery) and mentioned it as a safety issue on a Jaguar forum. Jaguar North America contacted me within 2 days of posting. They are reading the forums and don't f around when it comes to safety issues. Honda not as concerned?

One of the first parts to fail on every new car I've owned since the 1970's, regardless of brand; usually somewhere around the third year, the retractor weakens and you end up "feeding" the belt back into it. What gives?
