Default sell the s2k?

I'm debating whether to sell the s2000 or keep it.

So I've been bored recently and am trying to decide if it's time to sell the s2000. I have a friend selling his Porsche 996 911 Carrera. Or I can just pick up a E46 M3.

I'm really a japanese car guy so make a leap to europeans will be tough for me.

Though the s2000 is a fun car I guess I'm looking for a car with more torque.

Or I could just buy another 350z or get an Evo 9.

me too.
I really want to get a Porsche 911 lately but buying a house comes first
Maybe I can put a supercharger in the S2000 and stiffen up the suspension...

option 3: turbo the S, upgrade suspension, put some nice wheels on it - make it a super clean head-turner that smokes everything in sight.

Personally, I'd go with an M3, some nice wheels, a drop and call it a day

I'd say M3. I'm looking at getting into an 03-04 M3.

996 is the first gen water cooled 911. I wouldnt recommend it. Wait till the 997 comes down in price couple more years from now. There were some leak issues with the first few 996 years. A porsche tech told me on the DL that the cases were made much weaker in the early 996 due to being water cooled and to save costs.

Just whatever you do, do not get the 350z, if you want more power out of your car just supercharge it or turbo it, which is not that bad compared to the loss of trading in a car or selling it for a new one.

Keep the S2000 and get an EVO on the side.

I think I'd prefer a M3 over a 996 since you'd be getting a newer car for similar money, even a new M3 starts at $48K which (I assume) is less than a used 996.

Also the NSX is fab (IMO).

This based on what actual experience?

Yeah watch out for those "cases."

Drive them both but I would first question why you are buying a used high end German car.

hahah you know what I had a 350z... they are cheap used right now.. and could out handle a m3 on the california speedway... I know first hand on that... but not enough power to over take them on the straightaway.

But yes.. 350z might be too kid ricer for me again... at least the s2000 is classy. And girls think its cute.

but supercharger did pop into my mind... I already have good suspension and wheels. tein flex and te37.

I have thought about an NSX... but not sure if I want to pay outrageous prices for parts. but then again 996 is outrageous for parts... I wish for the days of the supra and 300zx turbo and rx7 when you could buy them new...
