so you rule out sti's and evo's but keep the civic si because its a 2 door?
maybe it's just me but fwd vs rwd/awd is much more important than 2 vs 4dr.

If you want something more GT... I really love my 650i.
That being said, I'm having to play mind games with myself in order to not think about trading it for a 911 or Cayman S. But that's because I want something a bit more "raw." (Though not too much so.)

How the hell do you end up putting a Civic SI in there?
?????
In any event, I am heavily biased towards the Boxster S.
You should test drive a Z4M.
It's a lot more fun than an E46 M3. And just as fast as the new V8 M3 below 100MPH.

The Civic SI is on there based on my requirements and mpg.
I've been stationed overseas Japan for 3 years and have not driven since. I can afford anything up to $70K which is why the vast array of price ranges.
Didn't plan on leasing due to the high miles I'll be putting on the car and I prefer to mod.
The Boxster S keeps popping up in my head as the most fun to drive overall w/convert as a bonus. I would choose the Boxster S over the Cayman.
With the Porsches, I have it as Boxster S> Boxster Spyder> Cayman S.
I'm leaning towards the Boxster S and the G37S coupe.
Ultimately it will come down to some test drives....

2011 Boxster Spyder. I already have something for bad weather so I'd gladly take a "fair weather" car. In a pinch, I'd take the Cayman S or Boxster S, though.
Don't forget that over two years, you'll probably lose $15K+ in value on any newer Porsche.
