Default Slight whirl noise question

Sorry for the non-S2000 related question, but this is the forum I visit the most and like the most, so I'm throwing out this question just to see if any has an easy answer. If you don't like the question, please just ignore me.

Just recently, I noticed a slight whirl noise coming from the timing belt area of my 1998 Accord V6. The noise is steady with RPM. I tested it out in neutral and the noise continues, so it's not transmission related, or tire related.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks.

Probably the Alternator, they are well known for whining.

Thanks for the heads up. Hope it's an easy/cheap fix.
