So, what does everyone think of the FJ Cruiser?

I really like it. With the end of the world near, we need an armageddon vehicle that'll get us the hell out of NYC.
But seriously, we had an Element for 2 years and loved the utility of it, but hated the fact that it was made to look like an all terrain vehicle, but was not built for anything hairier than hard packed sand at the beach.

It's the car of choice in Newport Beach Ca for high school and college age girls. At least that's all I see behind the wheel.
Seems like a nice entry level station wagon, grooming the girls into their role as soccer moms, next step Range Rovers.

Now that I've seen a half dozen or so in person, I think they are a little retarded. The look varies between cool and hack/slash sloppy imo, and the utility just isn't there compared to Toyota's other trucks. People buy this truck to be different, and it certainly is, so you can't fault them for that though.

You sound bitter.
Trophy wives giving the nannies a break and tending to their own wearing sports bras and shorts, it's a good thing.
Just make sure you see plenty of Range Rovers and the view is good.

it's a fad vehicle. the car's styling is only cool up to the point where you see them all over the road. think H2, PT cruiser, etc. they were cool and in high demand when first introduced. nowadays, noone really care for them.
