Looks like the design patent from awhile back is coming to fruition (obviously still concept).

Wow thats ugly. I think its also wearing some Toyo Proxes?...those are some pretty serious tires generally used on the track.

Odd placement of the front calipers.

Is this perhaps another design contest entry? Honda holds those from time to time AFAIK.

I hope so actually, since that is how the S660 came to life.

Also, this design is owned by Honda with the patent design to their name.

Technical oversight I'm sure...

Whatever it is, it looks pretty polished. Maybe an internal design contest entry from the California design studio.

Or a "never-gonna-happen" concept for the auto show circuit. Likely just a roller.

Supposedly its the exact same car as the one displayed at the California design studio but with the top chopped off.

Take that design, drop the 300hp turbo four from the Civic Type R in it, sell in the mid-thirty to low forty thousand range the 370z occupies. It would be easy. Just sayin.

Rumor mill says Toyota thinking about a new MR2. Toyota will screw it up by making it a low power car again instead of a midrange vehicle like the Sw20's used to be.
