I have always stayed on these forums because the owners were always great, never had anything bad to say about any car. But now its changed. Back then you couldnt get into an S2000 for anything like $35000. I think this place has filled up with kiddies who are getting them for $10000. To many haters now.

i got the Evo over the STi mainly due to handling...it just feels more nimble. but unlike what everybody says, the Evo doesn't handle THAT MUCH better than the STi stock vs. stock...i just prefer the Evo's very precise steering feel more (one of the best steering in all the cars i've driven/owned IMO)
in terms of driving experience, when i first got my IX, i thought my brother's ap1 was much more fun to drive. but after 4 months and 7000 miles, i find the Evo to be insanely fun to drive as well...just in a different way.
at the end of the day, it's all personal preference. i'm just glad i have the luxury of having access to both of these cars...completely opposite of each other yet so ****ing fun to drive
to the OP: give the STi more time and see what happens. if u still miss the s2k too much, sell the STi and get an used s2k and a Fit (great car, my father owns one)

the s2k is no question more dominating in the auto-x (better balance, lower cg, and ~400lbs lighter (most important))....however on most road courses and tracks it's another story...
yea the STi is a more complete package relative to the Evo. but i wanted more performance. as the sayin goes, if u want to keep it stock, get an STi; if u want to mod, get the Evo. i'm the latter type of guy of course, u can mod the STi too....
