Subaru WRX STi or Mitsubishi EVO-8
I recently passed by the Subaru dealer in HK and seated on the WRX STi version (not Spec C).
it is sexy!
and then I see alot in Australia (Sydney & Melbourne)
what's your choice? (personally, I prefer WRX STi more than Evo cars, because I like mechanical differential than computerized one

STi Spec C will be lighter,
torque will be increased to 42 (STi is 40.2)
so does the HP, (book record is still 300HP, but actually it is more than this)
Spec C will add a small "manual top window", to be same as the one shown in the World Rally Car
**I have checked with HK dealer, they cannot import the World Rally limited edition, but will import the Spec C version as the 2005 top model
Spec C price will be 20% more than the STi version

The current STis have electronic diffs, too. (DCCD)
I think only the Evo RS models are still mechanical diffs all around. I am putting a Quaife mechanical front LSD in my Evo here in the US.

How about an EVO8 MR (RS) with 6 speed? That's what I would buy if I have a chance.
Far better than the regular EVO 8.

I'm really thinking about buying one (STi). With my trade in and putting some money down, I should be able to get one for $10-15k, and with 1.9% APR for 36 months... That's nothing!
