This rumor is BS, there's no way they could increase power (and thus cooling, strength of parts in the powertrain, etc.) that much with a 550 lb weight loss at the same time. The Veyron SS is already all carbon fiber...

that would be like saying its BS an s2000 could make 400% more power than stock with just one turbo.
Sure I know the veryon already has 16 radiators and produces a shit ton of heat. But hey, whats another 400hp? haha

Guess they got tired of seeing all these 1,500 awhp TT Lambos, Ford GTs and GT-R's roasting the "base" Veyron's performance figures. A UGR Gallardo build seems cheap at 250-300K total compared to 2.5 million!

So, they've decided to double down on stupidity. Dumbest car ever made. Pointless. Performance that no one can use at a price that virtually no one can afford. All for dick swinging bragging rights to "the most". And it's not even nice looking. A Ferrari 458 is a much more stunning achievement in my book.

And I kind of like its looks, it's like a semi-ugly but powerful beast.
Also, I'm glad people record its sounds for youtube, since I can't afford one and haven't even ever seen one in person.

Your missing the point of the car, and yes there is one. If we (as humans) never pushed the limits to what we can do, we would never progress.
I dont see why you think an engineering marvel is pointless. I dont think the reason VW makes this car is to make money, it definitely puts a for VW in my book, and shows you that German engineering at it's finest is unmatched in the automotive world.
