Wow... he's clearly never heard of "the value is what someone is willing to pay for it." I doubt someone will just magically appear willing to pay 4x what the last guy did - at least not in the next 20 years.

Remember we use ""MARKET VALUE PRICING"" to make it easier to not only buy a vehicle but to buy it at a GREAT price. Our pricing is HAGGLE FREE. We price them right and as a result it allows us to sell more for less. Our entire team is willing and able to help you.

They're definitely shooting to hook a sucker. $500K for a Supra, today? Get outta here!

Why are folks getting so far into the high blood pressure zone here?
The dealer sells and services a lot of Toyota’s here on the lovely North side of town
He just built a new store
Until he can find a 2000GT, might as well have a terrific example of a Supra to generate interest on the floor, especially with the new BMW Supra hitting soon.
The over the top asking price just avoids it getting sold and spoiling the multi generational presence in the store

Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner. This dealer just bought a nice bit of advertising. It has us talking about him, and it will draw traffic and help sell more new supras. And when he wants, he'll flip it and get his money out of it

wrong. I keep away from obnoxious dealers like this and tell those around me to do the same. "We use market value pricing" lmao right.

I think it's more of a showpiece, but if someone paid enough, the dealer would let it go, vs being serious about selling it.
If someone offered me $20k for my S, I'd turn it down, but $100k? Yeah, I can find another S.

Years ago my neighbor owned the local Ford store (as he called it). I noticed he had an original '56 Thunderbird in his home garage and asked why it wasn't on the showroom floor in front of the widow -- sure to attract car guys driving by. A week later it was there inside one of those low white fences. He bought me dinner a month later as he noted sales increased.
