ah cool, yeah these cars feel like little tanks, they seem like very safe vehicles from what I've seen, good to hear you were safe after your incident. I have snow tires going on the WRX since they only come with summer tires. Thanks

Nice, I've never owned a horizontally opposed engine vehicle, looking forward to this one, I never really liked the exhaust sound of the unequal length headers but this model has done away with that and I rather like the exhaust sounds.

I found the engineering on my legacy gt to be awful. I realize they've made some improvements but in a few years everything rattles. God help you if you want to work on these things. Enjoy the car. My honest suggestion is to drive it for 40-50k and sell it.

I've always liked the Legacy, sorry to hear about your issues with it. I hear you about working on these engines, a spark plug change looks like a significant project compared to a Honda. Realistically I won't own it past 50k miles if it's like any of my past cars, I tend to get rid of them around that point.

Perfect they tend to hold their values well. I wouldn't try to put 100k on anything they make if you like the finer things in life

the 2.5L from before 2016 were a problem, but I see plenty of Foresters etc with many, many miles on them. We're looking at '16-18 manual shift foresters.

it took almost 5 weeks for them to transport it 400 kms between dealers, at least it got here safe and sound, by transport truck.

One thing I'm liking about the Subaru is that they have bucked the trend and still use 5w-30 oil, and still have "normal" oil change intervals with no OLMs, and no ECO button lol. I love how the oil filter is at the top of the engine bay, can't wait to do my own oil change on this one. My model still uses a key, which I don't really mind, as I'm always leaving my keys in my cars that have push button start, lol, you tend to misplace keys more with push button start systems, at least I do. The WRX still has a manual e-brake, I hate the electronic e-brakes used on other cars, give me the handle every time.
