New Boxster looks stunning. Now we just need BMW to sharpen up the driving dynamics of the Z4. Less SL, more SLK.

It certainly isn't a generally masculine design, so... but I guess I know nothing.
And I also don't know why people keep saying that this is the successor (heard it a couple of times on these boards), you know there was a previous boxster, as if that somehow makes the s2000 on the same level of a porsche, it's a honda. Maybe in spirit, but it's a honda and that's a porsche.
The photos were posted on another forum, were beautifully taken, and I was too lazy to find one that's white on black.

I chose to include successor with quotation marks because it's obviously not the s2k's true successor. But you're right about the Boxster keeping the driving spirit of the s2k alive as this Porsche is probably the closest thing to what we'd imagine and hope a modern-day s2000 would be.

Jesus christ, the dictionary nazis came out full force in my thread.

Obviously we all know the s2 isnt the actual precursor to this boxster, im just saying that people like to equate their honda to porsches.

No love for Vettes in here huh

Just because the interior is junk doesn't mean it's not a good looking car...

But your Boxster looks lovely as well. And 50k doesn't seem unreasonable.

Damn, that looks good in silver/red. Not many cars make me smile at first look but that one does. Good video review as well. Where's my checkbook. Darn, the wife has it.

Except the start price is $60,100 with no options and most of them will be low to mid 70's out the door.

Here's a good close-up walk through from the dealership where I bought my A6.

it's still the one and only true "successor" to the s2000.
Aside from the obvious differences between the two, what I like about the S2000 is its relative simplicity for the owner, the Boxster seems too hard to do anything to.

But, yes, if after you get an S2000 and want to spend more money for more car and enjoy the drive, the Boxster is the next step.

I'm not a huge Porsche fan but I am getting to the point where I may want to get one.
