Awesome car and color combo. My favorite 997 wheels, too. Congrats!

They're great cars. My step-mom has one and loves it. Scoots pretty good and you have to love the convertible experience.

My favorite is the Sport Design style, which is why I put them on my Cayman:

Kinda feels like a shame to break these two up....they've shared a garage together for 5+ years.

So everything is in place to pick the car up tomorrow. We are being thoroughly tested on the way there....we weren't able to come by cheap flights, so we grabbed a cheap 1 way rental for the drive. Well, Enterprise handed us a 45k mile Hyundai Accent, a real sh*tbox that should have been put out to pasture long ago. It had a busted underbody panel that would flex down and drag the ground at speed, so I jacked up the car and ziptied it to the chassis. Funniest thing...it's also blue. I just might have to get a pic of them side by side before we turn it in.

I suppose the only silver lining is that my wife drew the short straw, so she's driving the morning shift. I kid..... she's a morning person and I'm not, and since we're hitting the road EARLY she's volunteered to drive first.
