Default Thinking about selling my s2k for a CTR

I currently own a 06 s2k with 18k miles and I love every moment of it when I get to drive it. I've been thinking about selling it privately and picking up a Civic Type R at msrp from my local dealer. Has anyone else on here thinking buying a CTR as well? I drove one back in June and it was fun to drive but still didnt have that raw feel to it compared to the s2k. But definitely more comfortable, more room and boost is always fun. I figure I can always grab an s2k later on for a weekend car.

PM me the details on your 06 with 18k if you're serious about selling it.

CTR is way more practical, faster in every way and has lots of amenities. As a daily driver, or a regularly used car, it's going to make way more sense.

That said, if you like RWD dynamics, the CTR won't replace an S2000. Different strokes for different folks.

I think you're crazy. If all you're after is speed and deft handling buy a Camaro SS.

Camaro SS still feels quite heavy to drive. It it fast and capable but it doesn't feel "deft" (at all) to me. It's a great car but it's still big and heavy and there's no hiding it. Still the best bargain in the sports/sporty car world, I think (in SS 1LE form, at least)...

I prefer to stick with Honda and yes if i wanted speed id buy a camaro or mustang. My brother had an integra type R back in the day and now I want the opportunity to own one. I think the ctr would be more practical to daily drive. I know i will definitely miss my s2k if i decide to sell it.

I would add the ctr if you want one but I certainly would not sell a s2000 for it. You've got a collectors car, and something will never produce again. Save some $ and buy a ctr next year. Keep your car.

Is the S2000 your only car? It is understandable to sacrifice the pure sports car for something sporty but roomier and more comfortable if thats the case.

i have a 16 tacoma as my daily driver and almost traded it in for a black CTR but really didn't want two manual cars.

I figure I would get a high mileage later on. There were so many produced. Rumor is only 6000 total for the civic type r for 2017 and 2018.
