Now to me that is well rounded - Economy car daily - Check, Fun Sports car- Check , Winter buggy SUV with Clark Kent/Superman Personality - Check.
Toyota Camry LE V6 (25 mpg ) - check
Toyota Highlander Sport V6 (decently fast for an SUV) - check
Honda S2000 - check

Just out of curiousity how are the dashboard electronics any more 'complex' than those in the S2000 and aside from top down driving visibility in the 335 is 10,000,000 times better than the S with the top up.

If I was going to buy a 335 I'd go for the new 335d. 265hp and 425 lb.-ft. of torque and over 35mph on the highway.

And Reed, all those electronics you're complaining about on the 335 are OPTIONAL!

I kind of like all the toys, esp. bluetooth & ipod integration.

You can run 0-60 in the sub-5 seconds, a high-13/low-14 second quarter mile, and reach a top speed of about 150 miles per hour? I think not. You, sir, can not outperform any S2000 in any measurable category.

I am pretty sure the 335i does all of those you just mentioned, does it not?

I know that the 135i does 0-60 in 4.6, 1/4 mile in 13.4, and 150mph. The S does not do 0-60 in less then 5 seconds stock either The best 0-60 I have seen in a stock S is about 5.4 and most stock S2k's will barely grab 13's.

Most 335i's will do 0-60 in about 5 seconds to 4.8 and will pull high 13's all day.

Chris S- I was being a little sarcastic about not being raced anymore. I hated having big trucks always want to run me in the S. I live in a Redneck town It is just now that I have a fast 0-60 car no one will run me now

The i-Drive system in the BMW's does suck. That is why I did not get it. And parking sensors Why are those needed on a Sedan or Coupe? I can see that option being nice on an SUV.

Good point. Bluetooth was a nice feature as it worked flawlessly with my phone and didn't require much distraction from the road. The other gizmos I'd skip.

Regardless I like what the 135i has going on over the 335i in a few areas, including:

Better brakes
Shorter Wheel Base
M Steering Wheel / Shifter
Black Shadowline trim included in sport package
RamAir Brake Duct cooling instead of foglights
Hill Ascent Control
200lbs less
Black Chrome Shadowline exhaust tips

Google is your friend...a 335/135 will pretty much own an S2000 in any kind of straight line acceleration at any speed and in the triple digits the S2000 has even less of a chance. At least google before you post nonsense...the 335 is almost identical to the E46 M3 but the 335 is stronger on roll-ons due to the torque advantage at pretty much any speed. A 335/135 with just a tune will rape an S2000...

... I will out perform the S2000 in almost every measurable category...

I think Umar was refering to what you said about your personal ability to outperform the S2000, i.e. your ability to physically run 0-60 in sub 5s, etc... not what your car can do. Most of us knew what you meant though, derry.
