100HP is a pretty stout increase (and if internet rumors are to be believed, it's way underrated). Even at a $5K-6K discount, it would take about that much money invested back in to make of the difference (if that was a concern) and it wouldn't be under warranty, etc.

Plus it sounds like there are a number of smaller, incremental changes that are worth at least some of the price difference.

I'd definitely wait for an '11

You can get on the xplan for $40 through the EAA:

You just have to be a member for 30 days.

Next to Honda, I am a Ford fan, I'd get the newer one. Buying last years technology will probably bug him in a short while although both cars are very nice. If he wants older technology then he could probably find a very nice 2009 0r 2009 very cheap and they should be similar to the 2010 right? If he keeps a car a long time there is no question the 2011 car is the choice.

5.0 has landed. Shits about to get real!

This particular one is a 6 psd auto without the brembo brake package, and 3.15 rear (gross). But I do like the color!

JUST read a Car and Driver about the 2011 GT motors. They are moving back to the 5.0 v8 with awesome new upgrades.. Better airflow 2 more valves per cylinder 412hp!!! I wouldn't spend a dime on the 4.6l or whatever it is 2010. 2011 GT FTW

I'm on the ford site right now. What's the difference between the 3.31, 3.55, and 3.73?

I don't think you can get the Brembo brake package or the higher gearsets with the automatics.

Is this a real query or what? Who would buy a 2010 over a 2011? Even with a good discount, I would be unlikely to buy a 2010. 2011 is such an improvement. Not just the power, either.
