If your in the New England Area please PM me i work for VW, ill get you a better trade for your CR and a better deal on the golf you would like.
the 2010's are excellent cars, especially the GTI!
i would consider purchasing a deisel if you plan on keeping it for a long time. the 5 cylinder engine is great as well, no huge common problems.
keep in mind the low cost of maintenance as well! the care free maintenance on the car covers the firts 3 services, after that you only need an oil change once every 10,000 miles.
if you have any questions feel free to PM me id be glad to help you

If you are looking for a vehicle for your dog, I would go for the CRV. You can get a new CRV 4wd LX for about the same money. Great space, great gas mileage, and great trade-in value for later down the road.

If you replace the word 'Golf' with GTI, I'd go for it. Otherwise, Helll NO.

Hmm i might do that as well but it was not a base golf had the winter package, bluetooth, tilted sunroof and floor mats all around. I think with the added stuff it came to $23k online. Think i should still go for it or not? i am waiting right now for the right deal. I rather get a semi used one for cheaper as of now
