haha, I love it.. the top 10 has a predominant amount of cars owned by people who belong in the younger age group... coincidence? I wonder!

Also, the least expensive... most of the list has american cars in there. You know, the sedate types that make you fall asleep by simply looking at them...

Ouch! I'm surprised the Mustangs aren't represented there. '03 Cobra quotes were much higher (+50%!!) than my Z06 to insure.

That's top 10 "luxury" vehicles, with the designation of luxury meaning costing "30,000" or more.

The real list would be camrys, civics, integras and accords, in that list we'd probably be within the top 30-40, I dunno.

The article actually lists the cars (including the S2000) as:

The 10 cars with the most expensive collision losses, starting with the most expensive, from 2002 to 2004 figures from the Highway Loss Data Institute are:
Not sure if this is exactly what your thread title implies. Its kind of confusing when the table title and description don't match... I guess collision is just a part of your total premium.

That list looks like a bunch of cars involved in street racing (except for the Jags).

My $30k s2k was $300 a year more to insure than my $47k C6. Totally offset the fuel savings,my insurance agent said it was based on high repair costs and theft.

I was going to say I KNOW the SRT-4 is more expensive because I've owned both.. But it's there so no rant.
