I fear for my GSR's life everyday. I need to install a hidden fuel shutoff switch asap.

And chain it to a post...how many of those thefts were as a result of a towtruck/flatbed?

He'd probably be better bringing a pair of boots with him everywhere he went. That, or knifing the tires like that one beer commercial...

Its like this every year... Integras engines are a tuner's dream, and they don't come cheap! Plus, stolen cars parted out is more profitable and harder to track (I read somewhere that a $10k kbb value car can be harvested for about $30k)

well now with the release of the K series motors(k20a2, k20a3, k23a2), i believe the list will change shortly. They're the new B series motors. Not only do they perform better but they are crazy expensive. And alot of people that own 7thgen Civics go crazy buying Type S parts.

You know what, I read something about this too. There was this idea that Honda changed the car's name from Integra to RSX because they believed it would deter the theft of the DC5s... and it worked for the first few years! BUT, now, RSX-S are stolen and is climbing, for the same reasons as its predecessors; engines.

I wonder if I part my car out if I would get more money that way than selling it whole.
