Default Turbo 360 Modena

I knew the F40 was turbo straight from the factory, but didn't know Modena could be modded with aftermarket turbo...

... Turbo, 512 rwhp

Bone Stock...

All of this, from FerrariChat.Com =)

So everyone knows, where it came from ; )

that's the only pics that were posted...

Not too many modded Ferrari's on FerrariChat.com / showroom...

Matter of fact, I seen more Modded Exotics, on the BMW Forums, M3Forum / - E46Fanatics.com

Here is a random Modena pic, I liked browsing though...

you can toss turbos on any car.. all you need is room for piping.. don't even need room for turbos as they don't even need to be located in the engine bay

The Novitec setup looks a lot cleaner. Just read their new F 430 conversion. In the range of 650+ hp.

Ehh......3.6L V8 twin turbo and only 512rwhp?? Not real impressive by today's standards, escpecially considering how much that kit must cost.

That's about 600 hp at the engine. That's not bad at all. Especially for a high revving 3.6L V8. Even looking at modified engines with nearly twice that displacement and "regular" boost levels they are putting out less. Also, these are Ferrari owners. They are probably looking for reliability & everyday drivability vs. all out hp. Read where they are getting this on a relitively mild 5-6 psi boost level. Looking at kits such as ATI Procharger on the new 6.0 L C6 and they are looking at about this level, or the C5 Z06 Vortech units and they are about high 400's (540 at the engine) at these boost levels.

And Ferraris are in the "If you have to ask, you can't afford it category" in terms of mod prices & cars. I'm sure guys that are buying these cars & modding them, are not worried about it like you & I would be.
