Pretty hard not to fall in love with this. Lightweight, high-powered RWD manual sportscar? It's about as heavy as an S2000 with double the power.

Plus, it's got a Mustang engine, which I interpret to mean A) I can make a bazillion torks and horsies and B) I don't have to care if I blow it up the way I would care if I blew up a Porsche. I get it, Cosworth has already Cosworthified it, but it's nice to know that I can go crazy if I want to.

I love it.
We need more modern, durable, simple sports cars.

Launch price is 90k pounds which comes out to 121k USD. I wonder what it would price at if it came stateside.

Awesome. I wish more cottage industry cars would come out but make more affordable cars. Heck you could even use a domestic v6 which these days are a dime a dozen and make 300hp. Imagine that in a sub 3000lb rwd car.

Imagine if Toyota had simply taken the FR-S/BRZ/GT86 platform, shoved the windshield and front-seaters aft a good 20" (losing rear seats but tremendously improving f/r weight distribution), and installed the 3.5 liter Lexus V6 shoved further aft in place of the fairly front-mounted boxer 4. Boom, 306hp, less than 3000 lb sports car with better (more rearward) than 50/50 weight distribution for reasonable $$$$. But no, we're gonna get a bloated overweight BMW Supra instead
