Slower than a Honda Fit? What a joke.

I would take this over the Fit and not mind DD'ing it; looks like a fun little car.

I still think the car looks neat, but yeah with proper gearing and tune it could have delivered very similar milage with a K20 with probably lower weight from ditching the batteries.

It amazes me some of these cars get as crappy milage as they do. If this thing is going to be that slow, it should get mid to high forties for mpg. The fact that the freaking Smart gets only about 35 mpg means somebody really screwed up. They have hot hatch tuner versions of the Fiat 500 Abarth that can get near 50mpg and are much more entertaining.

If the Fiat is brought over, it would kill the market for this car.

can we all just admit this car is a colossal waste of time and not have any more threads about it?

All reviews will be the same, it has good handling feel and is slower then a tortise. done. time to move on.

OK, acceleration isn't everything but it ain't nothing. This thing is going to get smoked by a Corolla for God's sake.

It only gets 36/38 mpg with cvt (in econ mode, I presume) and priced at the Accord level? I'd be happy if they just remake the original CRX Si and price it at 15k.

they need to make a non i.m.a. and drop a B16A2 or if that's not possible the K20Z3 but that would skew the weight and call the CRZ-R. and make it look like the Spoon of course. Ecopia?

About the same (for the 6-sp) and probably just as fun, while slightly more fuel efficient. The Smart is slightly more costly too.

The upcoming Hyundai Sonata hybrid may get similar EPA miles per gallon.

CRZ: 36/38.
Sonata hybrid: 37/39 (expected).

Swing and a miss. I'm sure john 9-5er 30 minute commuter will be intrigued with his new option.
