U.S. spec CR-Z Exclusive test
#21
Is it just me or is this the worst of both worlds - not sporty enough to cater to an enthusiast, and too thirsty for those interested in economy. I think the car looks great, but it seems like Honda really didn't know what they wanted when putting all the pieces together...It tries to be too many things at once, and ends up being fairly irrelevant.

after looking at some pics of the production car, it makes it more clear that the design of this car would grow on many but only if it had the proper engine to match its title. The interior is very well laid out with lots of tech that would make this a awesome car, but the engine does kill the total package, its still not to late to bring in a sporty edition like a SI trim or a Type-r in the future. But the current model CR-z will be a hybrid that is impractically.... just like the 1st gen insight, but also the CR-Z gets less MPG then the 1st gen insight i wanna say epic fail, but honda still has time in the future. Hopfully in 2-3 years a new sports car will be produced, since i might give up my S after im down with college.
btw here is the pics of the CR-Z in europe trim:

Let the record show that folks on this forum do not single out the likes of LF-A, GT-R, 135, etc. to "hate." Pretty much just calling 'em as we see 'em, even Honda cars. Especially Honda cars.

It looks good... But it needs some sort of power to be considered 'sporty'. What a joke. The gas mileage isn't worth it. My grandmother's Corolla is a 1/4mile demon compared to this thing.
