Default Veloster N

Don't crucify me too bad....but does anyone else like this too? It seems like a neat little car. Would make a fun daily beater, may be worth picking up second hand in the next year or two. As far as reviews are concerned it seems like people really like them from what I've seen / read. As with any car, looks are subjective, but it's a nice little hot hatch I feel.

yup- I really think they're on to something. I'd buy one in the light blue. Magazines say they're fun to drive, but not a typeR...but also $5000 less with no dealer markups.

I kinda like em, but I would get a GTI over it. But hey, people like what they like. As long as you aren't like my old neighbor and roll up in a shiny new Pontiac Aztek, nobody should care what your personal choice is and alot of people you run across will like them too.

I own a 2012 Forte(Cerato) Koup. back when I bought mine, the Veloster and Koup were essentially the same platform from parent and child company, wheel base, and suspension. They handle identically except the Veloster was a 1.6 turbo, and my koup ist the2.4L SX.

They both are really similar to integra and prelude life for balance, but of course heavier. I haven't looked at the newer years, so I don't know if manuals are still an option, as the older models had 6spd available.

As much as I respect the performance I don't like the looks of it. . I respect people buying whatever makes them happy, I just don't like the outward shape/design and looks of it. Great legs , shame about the face.

This is an interesting one for me. There are zero 3 door hot hatches on the market right now, closest would be the civic si coupe and this. I like 3 door hatches.

I saw a new non N veloster on the road the other day and I thought it looked darn good. Maybe not second to the last gen 3 door gti good, but good. I like that it had a lower roof than the gtis and generally I like the look. The extra suicide door I don't mind and frankly just wish they chose to either do both sides with one or two doors, I like symmetry. When I had my talon, the bulge on one side of the hood just drove me nuts.

I like them, and as a sub 20k used car I'd consider buying one if the need arose.
