Default Vintage Honda car parts

My cousin is fixing up an 81 civic wagon and is having trouble finding a radiator for it. It’s good to see the younger generation ,he’s in his early 20s, getting interested in older cars no matter what it is so I told him I would see what I could find. Has anybody done business with a company that they would recommend regarding parts for older Honda’s? Thanks in advance.

Yes that was the first thing I asked him if he tried rock auto. They found one place that said they had it in stock but then told them later it was temporarily out of stock.

How about re-coring it? He might just have to find something about the right size and make a couple custom brackets to get it to fit.

I had suggested that also he is going to look into doing that but I think he is also thinking how moving forward he will need more parts from time to time. I was very surprised that it is difficult to find parts for that model.
I told him that it may serve him well to learn how to rebuilt parts like starters alternators etc.
