So Button is wasting no time making friends at BAR eh? By the time he said his "team-building" comment following the race, he should of known Jacques had radio problems which caused the dual pit stop. That comment was bush league.
My man Montoya should be given an award for using those tires for as long as he did without losing major points to Kimi or Schu. I'm stoked that he got 8 of 'em but truth be told, I think two points separating first and second place is a joke. At least Juan Pablo admitted he lifted off the throttle and that's what caused the spin but I'd like to think all those laps on that set didn't help much either. Great race...probably as entertaining an F1 race as I've seen in a year or two. I like the new rules and think they worked to make the race interesting right to the end. Ferrari.
Hell, even Minardi was in danger of getting a point! Gotta love that! Also, the newbie Alonso is going to be a force. Renault was impressive.
F1 is going to be much better this year I think.

I really enjoyed that race for several reasons. The unknowns of qualifying / fuel loads, the wet vs dry tire coin toss, the numerous passing, the numerous screw ups, the totally unexpected end results. Damn, that's how F1 use to be. More human and less engineered. Loved it.

I enjoyed this race more than I have for a few years. It was exciting. Too bad Jensen was sitting there behind Jacques in pit lane waiting for new tires. Plus, this is the first time since September of '99 that Ferrari wasn't on the podium. There's hope for an exciting season.
