If you think the definition of "Sports Car" is bad, take a look at their definition of "Roadster":

Roadster is the North American term for a frontal mid-engine, rear wheel drive, two-seater, open car, traditionally without side windows (possibly with pluggable doortops), so that even with the lightweight convertible top raised the driver and passenger remain exposed to the elements.
