what is your second car?
Well, my car is paid off. I'm honestly not one of those people that needs a lot, but the puppy is getting bigger and it's getting harder to go places, or take long trips with her. I thought about selling my s2k, but after months of my brain trying to reason with my heart, it came to a conclusion, it's not going to happen and we're going to keep the car.
So, what all you people drive as a second car?
I've went and looked at E63, CTS-V, and M3... But my plan is to buy a practical and comfortable car, since I'm going to spend money on the s2k to go ridiculously fast for the next few years. Plus, financially, if I buy any of E63, CTS-V and M3 (all used that I looked at with low miles) means I have to sell or trade the s2k in.
I've been looking at the Saab, WRX wagon, Evo X MR... I just can't make up my mind.
Any feedback on what you drive as a second car will definitely help out. I'm not married, no kids, and I make a good living.
Thanks.
ps how do I get rid of some pictures on the signature? Is this a members only option now? haven't been here in a while.

I drive old Toyota pickups personally, but if you are going for something affordable while being comfortable, you could do a civic, accord, Toyota Tacoma. Also a Lexus is250 is nice as well.

My other car is a 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. It has a back seat and decent sized trunk so it is more practical. The Genesis is definitely the better car for long drives on the interstate and has a nice punch of torque with the turbo, but the s2k is more fun in the twisties and is more thrilling to drive.

My daily driver is '96 S10 2.2L 5 speed with 234K on the clock. I love having a cheap truck as my primary car. I don't care about driving through snow/salt or where it is parked. It is very practical and I enjoy shifting gears myself. With the 4 cylinder I get 26-28 MPG in mixed driving. My biggest complaint is it is painfully slow, but I'm used to it now. Whenever I've had interesting cars a daily drivers, I've always fretted too much with the protecting the cosmetics.
