06 6 speed V6 Accord here. Good power, fair room (coupe), great MPG, easy to work on! Plus I bought my Accord 2.5 years ago with 70k on the clock for 12k. I'm sure they can be had for a better deal now.

What a strange question.

My S2k is my practical DD car. My less practical cars are my 1980 Triumph TR7, & it's cousin my TR8

If due to some catastrophic event, totally beyond my control, I am forced to actually drive a car, with more than one passenger seat, I have been known, but only under severe protest, to use my wife's Mazda 2.

Quite spoiled my day thinking of it.

E90 335i would be on my short list if passenger volume & maintenance costs are not an issue. Yes, I realize that I will start a giant tangential fire with DE maintenance costs, so I'm prefacing it with non-DIY perspective.

More pragmatic (read: affordable) yet "sporty" option would be WRX/legacy GT, acura RDX, acura TL, lexus IS/GS

Ford F250 diesel. I make my own biodiesel, so at times it actually makes it hard to drive the S when the gas price is closing in on 4.00 per gallon and I make biodiesel for .47 per gallon. My wife has a VW EOS. My favorite is the S2000 though!!

good feedback. so funny, nobody drives the same cars who posted.

2000 lexus es300 sounds alright... I'm actually looking at Hyundai Genesis right now. So cheap for what they come with! I really want a Saab 9-5 aero...

Trucks make more sense, since you could trail s2000 on it, if I move... but I hate SUV or driving anything big or tall.

Hey, that is250 isn't too bad. but for the money, hyundai genesis actually has more... stuff than is250.

damn, cant decide... I guess that's a good thing. lol

2001 Integra GS-R! that thing has a ton of room and feels like I'm driving a super tall semi truck after long stints with the S.

I've always wanted a 2006 or newer accord as my winter vehicle. I've had trucks in the past and while they're awesome, they're too much for a student/cubicle worker. I'm not sure that this is the route you wanna go but I love my current winter vehicle, a base jeep Wrangler TJ. I got it for 5k in nearly perfect condition with 50k miles. I can go through anything, simple as hell, doesnt have any features aside from a hard top, super low maintenance, my dad had a 4cyl. that he he took over 250k miles with no issues so I'm hoping reliability will be descent, manual tranny, super weak 4cyl that gets me 20mpg easy, and the main reason I bought it: you can take the top off! There's also something nice about owning one, at least here in Colorado there is. Very large jeep community and like someone else on here said: I don't worry about it at all because, again, it has zero features. I leave it anywhere for hours, no top or doors, and have never had an issue.
