Of those two, not really sure who does it better. As far as roadsters go, I do know who does it best!

The 488 Spider, tho an open top, isn’t really what I’d consider a “roadster”. Especially next to the two cars proposed by the OP. I’d agree that the 488 Spider is an incredible car, better in many regards than the GTC. But, I’d take the GTC before most Aston’s... tho, I’ve not driven an Aston. Perhaps I should reserve judgement.

On looks alone, GTC RULES the Aston.

Really? GTC is "nice looking", but not much more than that in the looks. Vanquish is a masterpiece.

Aren't roadsters supposed to be two-seaters?

Yes, I think the official definition of roadster is two-seat convertible, with an emphasis on sportiness. IMO it should also be front-engined, but I don't think that's part of the official definition.

They are, yes. A roadster only has 2 seats.

I am also of the opinion that a roadster is front engined. Rear engines cars are spiders (spyder?). Additionally, I was brought up that a true roadster, and one of the things so special about the S2000 is that it was created as an open top. Of course disqualifing my beloved GTC...

Spyder is used in Italian cars to denote a convertible.
