Default Will the new, Honda Civic Si ever be mass produced

Hi. I like the new, 2006 Honda Civic Si and am ready to buy. The only problem is that these cars are very rare, dealers get about one car a month, and dealers are charging up to $5,000 over MSRP.

Do you think a time is coming when the Si will be mass produced? That is, you can go to any dealership and there will be 5 on the lot? If so, then this car will be a lot easier to buy.

No, it's going to continue to be a hard to find, sought after exotic.

I'll sell you one at MSRP.

You just have to fly to DC to pick it up. Not to mention 2.5 months wait time.

I think they will, when the RSX-S stops production. Remember, the reason why we didn't get the old EP3 Type Rs was because Honda was afraid that it would steal the sales over the RSX-S.

You were doing fine until you said "exotic"...

They are definitely hard to find and are highly sought after.

Which brings me to the big point - what makes a car exotic? We should do a thread about it!

Oh wait....
