^^ agreed.
Yes I would buy a car with a salvage title but no I wouldn't buy that one. More importantly you may want to find out why the car was salvaged. Stolen recoveries are fine, heavy collision... not so much. Do the math, insurance companies total cars out when it's no longer cost effective to repair the car, thus the repairs had to have been discounted in some way either in money or labor.
If it were an older car like a 91 crx where a fender bender could total it, different story, but a heavy front end impact to total a tsx would have to be pretty severe.

agreeing with above...... I bought a salvage title S2000 which i made into a race car.....
I would not buy one for the street unless it was damn cheap (and I mean DAMN CHEAP) and I knew for sure what had happened to it and how it was repaired...
I have seen on TV where a reconstructed car is involved in another accident and they just crumble due to not being fixed properly the first time..... maybe if you could get it for $10k then put a full cage in it for safety..

You should buy a salvage if its super cheap or if you're not planning on selling it anytime soon ..
BTW a "clean" title doesn't mean that you're perfectly ok to buy either ....
