Some guys in my Subaru club have talked about keeping mileage off a particular car, and one came up with a great analogy. The s2000 is a reliable car, even when the mileage is up there. Sure the person who buys it off you will appreciate the lower mileage, but that doesn't overly benefit you outside of maybe selling it for a little more. The analogy was not banging your girlfriend so she's tighter for the next guy. Only reason my s2k is parked is because there's snow on the ground.

This isn't directed at you specifically, just in general to the idea of keeping mileage off a car. But to each their own

After owning a 350z track, an 04 g35 TT and an 06 bored and stroked 3.8, I think I'm done with the VQ platform, but it was fun while it lasted!

I see what you mean. My reasons for being a little stingy with the miles is not linked to resale value but rather trying to make the time in the s2000 special for me. The affect of switching to the Honda on a nice day while I've been driving something else as a I daily works great.
