ZO6 Corvette 0-60 = 3.7 seconds
I can't hardly see many car faster than the new corvette ZO6; 505 hp WHILE having similar MPG with the S2000 on the freeway. it can accelerate 0-60 in 3.7 WHILE STILL FIRST GEAR...Wow, the only production N/A car i can come up that was close to the perforamnce is Viper, lambo v12 (not the v8), ferarri, porsche GT2......I really hope the new skyline will be close to this number...and price.

They did a head to head camparo in CarAndDriver of the Z06 and the new Viper Coupe. Believe it or not, the Vette won. They actually obtained a 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds. Let's not forget though that the new Z06 goes for $67,800.

strange. edmunds.com recorded a 4. something 0-60. whatever. it's fast and nice, but besides racing on a track, what the hell are you going to do with that speed?

As far as wondering what someone will do with that kind of speed *off* the track, I have no idea. But then why is there all this aftermarket stuff that people buy to make their cars faster and more powerful? If one were to believe they never use their newfound performance anywhere except at the track, they probably wouldn't even buy it.

Yeah for the price of ONE Z06 you can almost buy 3 S2000s.
This is the only vette I have ever lusted after, but at that price . . . .
For not much more you can get a Ford GT, now there's a truly unique vehicle. You won't find a dozen similar cars staring at you as you cruise the streets, of course you will find hundreds of eyes staring at you.

As far as I've seen, even used GT's go for more than msrp.
