Wow. It would be interesting to see if that is a full interior car, and to see just how modified it is. Sounds like a minimum of a big cam, straight pipes, and smaller pulley. Though with stock ZR1's on the OE tires running in the high 10's, just a set of slicks could potentially make up most of that difference.

It is not easy to get the front wheels off the ground when launching a corvette. That is a lot of power.

The dude was still stationary for 3 seconds after the tree went green and still managed a 9 second pass, damn.

And that still has the manual. Who knows what that thing would run with an auto and a nice stall converter. Very impressive!

No worries. You can google it for details, but basically, your run is broken into two parts. Your RT (Reaction Time) and your ET (Elapsed Time). The RT is the time between the green light and the time that you leave the starting line. The elapsed time measures how long it takes from the time you leave the starting line until you cross the beam at the finish line.

The ET is what people quote when they're stating their 1/4 mile time, but when you're actually racing, both the ET & the RT are important.
