Well with all the thread's and advice i will try and find something to help me,

Budget - £1500 - Cheaper the better,

Don't care about looks or image etc,

Just needs to do lots of MPG, Cheap to Tax and cheap to insure,

Toys would be nice but just basic cheap motoring is what i need,

Have a 1.6 Tigra at the moment but its not really that much cheaper then the S to use,

The Tigra is going soon, (Free Ebay listing for those wanting to list there Motor, 23rd May )

So whats the recommendations?

I'd buy a diesel. Maybe a 306 Hdi you could possibly get with that budget. Loads of poke, cheap to run, insure and parts are dirt cheap.

I have a Mondeo TDCI with about 130k miles on it, its the 130 so fairly nice to drive on the motorway - its a bit dented and battered from years of been my beater. Let me know if you are interested

Thank you for all the suggestions,

Tigra is now on the Bay so when that sells i can go looking at some,

Quite like the Yaris or 306 HDI option TBH,

See what the Tigra goes for then see what i have budget wise till pay day,
