Car lease quote
Appreciate feedback / advice from any people experienced with car leases.
I want something practical and fun for a couple of years whilst I work out my future life / car strategy.
My quote is as follows:
Volkswagen Golf GTI - 2.0 TSI 16v (207bhp) Hatchback 5dr 1984cc
petrol manual with non-metallic paint
This car is new; 3 + 23

As long as you are happy not owning the car (can't make any personal changes or modifications) and don't mind being tied into a limited mileage and fixed payments for 3 years then the price seems better than buying through HP. Personally I would rather be able to sell if I got bored or not have to count out the mileage I do.

That's 10k to borrow a car for 2 years.
If I was after a 'pokey family hatch back that is reliable and entertaining' I'd check around my used car lots and classified ads and pick up something for 5-7k and spend the other 3k on cake and ginger beer.
-or-
For 10k you could buy an 8 year old S for fun, a 6 year old Focus for practicality and still have money left over.
Possibly.
