I've had the TC flashing at me quite a lot, but not switched it off yet.

Car looks great, especially with the CS alloys!

Love the 19"s on your parent's 5 series - they are gorgeous alloys.

I have started switching the first stage of the T/C off and it's great fun, and still has enough protection to get you out of the poop if needed.

Had a few really good blasts, 120 revs at a mere 4100 rpm

Are the CS ones a bit like Gad's M5 ones?

What do you mean? Looks wise? The CS alloys are the ones in the pic above.

Nice car, and as you say unbelievable how they handle and how much grip they have. With TC on you really can believe you are a driving god in those beasts. Turning TC off is a whole load more ar$e gripping!

Good looking in silver too

You should, but only if you want to end up buying one. It's an incredible machine. The test drive really didn't do it justice.

A big test will be the morning commute tomorrow.

Literally the only thing I'm not keen on is the gear change, but everything's going to be crap after the S.

I was shocked at the Elise gear change at first.

But once you get used to it, you think it's actually good.

The box on the S2000 is leagues above anything else I have driven.

The next car game is a great one to play. I play it often in my head and have a number of options. I will be in a Caterham one day, may be soon. But other things are becoming more important so justifying a track toy is hard... an M3 is therefore very appealing once mini-me number two arrives.

There's a ton of room in the back, but you'd probably find it a pain putting kids in the back. However the new M3 V8 Saloon....

And the new M5's are depreciating like they're going out of fashion.
