Yeh it's pretty mint with only 8600 miles on it. It's got the full acropovic titanium system in it too so sounds good. The box is lumpier than my 600f and I can hear the injectors clicking away quietly so its a bit more hardcore than the 600. It's bonkers fast though!

It should be fast.

It puts "fast" in to perspective, especially compared to all these "fast" cars you here about.

Wheelied it yet?

The best wheelies are the unexpected ones.

Blade looks sweet, Bandit. Keep the rubber side down!

I opened it up yesterday coming off a dual carriageway roundabout, sweeping right into a left, 2nd gear opened the throttle to apply power chasing a mate on his R6 and the wheel lifted off, I flipping shat myself!

I need to get used to this bike before I try to be clever. It's bloody good fun though lol.

That's the way.

It should also come up if you are flat out in 2nd and bang up to 3rd.

This thread needs a bump. The weather has been so great i've been out on loads of ride outs. Did Bristol to Weymouth yesterday and had a fab ride, my friend on his R6 and me on the Blade, met up with a ZX6 on the way home up the A38.. Weymouth was packed with bikes it was like a mini meet. Long may the sun shine. I really must get out in the S..

I've still not got out on my K13GT (hasn't turned a wheel since September) due to work pressures, but have been out on my VFR - just twice.

Once to take it to a prospective buyer for a test ride, and second to deliver it to him on friday

One less VTEC cluttering up the garage now - hopefully I can start enjoying riding again in a couple of weeks .........

I have a question guys.

I'll be back in the summer, and the Gixxer will have been sat on its arse doing nothing for a year.

I think someone told me that the fuel tank will need to be drained, but will I be able to ride out to the garage for a service, or will I need to have it trailered there?

San

See if you can get someone to start it and run the tank dry. Today's unleaded can leave nasty deposits. Otherwise jsut fill it with fresh fuel when you get back. Should be OK.
