As much as I love the Street Triple I've had the itch to get another sports bike. Just been given the green light by the long haired Admiral to buy a second bike. Budget is around £9000. I love the look of the 899 Panigale so think I might take the plunge. Anyone had any experience with them or know of any other viable contenders (don't want a litre bike or a 600)?

I saw a 2nd hand one a few months ago at a Honda dealership here in France. Red, as good as new a few 1000 km. Someone bought the wrong bike...
I admit i was sorely tempted but realized it would end up as a garage queen...

Look what I bought after a rather heavy Oktoberfest session Saturday night! Took 5 hour to drive to Kent to pick it up, but well worth it. Managed to get out for a couple of hours this afternoon, what a bike!! Confidence inspiring handling and a quick shifter for traffic light GP's! Also a bit of a head turner!

Is their new visitors centre open yet?

I would love a trip around the factory. I've just joined HMS Triumph and Triumph motorcycles are one of our best associates. Might have to nominate myself as liaison officer and swap a trip around a submarine for a trip around the factory!
