Well, after saying to myself that I won't modify the Panigale, i've gone and modified it!

Firstly bought a few carbon bits and then a carbon fibre fuel cap, also fitted a magnesium engine cover from a 1199 and then a clear clutch cover. Also just bought a set of Termignoni silencers (cost more than my first bike!) however being a Ducati the bloody bolts are seized on the original exhaust so I'm having a beer and thinking about the next move (drilling them may be the only option). It's then off to Bristol for some dyne time and a remap.

All in all the bike is so easy to ride however it does get some attention (luckily down here the scrotes on scoots are harmless). It is without doubt however the worse bike to work on! Something that is simple on my street (oil change for example) turns into a pig of a job!

That is stunning...

off to the Bike show tomorrow.. genuinely excited to see the new CRF450L

had a 250L, it was a bit underpowered but a good city commuter.. this looks very appealing

well Honda UK are still citing 25bhp where the US version is c45bhp.. i find the figure impossible to believe given my high torque Yam 700 has 75bhp and the cooking 250l has 22bhp

its one way not to flog it

I went and didn't really see much that took my fancy that wasn't over priced / under specced.

Not selling the big Z any time soon it seems.

CCM looked good but lacking a bit of grunt i thought

the Nortons were not as good as last year imho

It always does - cleavage and horrific interspersed with trainspotters!

I think a 2nd bike is in order at some point, probably one of the Triumph Street Twin variants - fruity exhaust, comfy seat etc.

there's a lot to be said for that style of bike
loads of torque, nice ride, great riding position
of course you lose on breaks and handling but my XSR feels at home buzzing round town. i like fewer cylinders these days .. on bikes

so.. my man brain decided that with 3 aged cars, 1 of which is supremely high maintenance, a 6.5 year old and a demanding schedule it would make perfect sense to buy a project bike with a 600 mile service interval

what a tit.. but you can lift one of these easily in and out of a van on yer own.. light.. and the sound is glorious to my uncouth ears.. a carb you say? kick start? a ****ing choke in 2018? get in... such a shame mental illness inflicted me so, relatively, young .. i hear them say while i look, slightly feverishly, for my 10mm..

it had a wee in the hire van... oops
