Ooofte that's a bill and a half for a newish thing! Design fault or actual fault? If the former, i'd be inclined to punt it on.

seeing as how common it is i'd say faulty part

they have punted a lot of these bikes in MT form but the web is awash with stories like mine.

Mine is.... ahem.. well used having seen 2 winters of use, about 5k miles and has an aftermarket can and tail tidy so it will be interesting if they try to wriggle

As it happens the ABS pump on the CT was changed under warranty.

bit big for my use.. i think the longest trek this XSR has done is c20 miles

i dont use it at the weekend, my son is 7 in a few weeks so dont really get time..

an XSR900 would be OK.. but probably overkill

To be fair that's about what my Z1000SX gets used for - 25 to work and 25 back. Thoroughly pleasant overkill

CT was more a son wants it dad bought it case.

yeah but listening to you is like listening to my man maths

this 700 is perfect for my use and thus i've no doubt i'll get something bigger next.. its only 18m old tho
