IIRC 15 stone inc gear was the weight limit - it's not much is it. Mind you, i don't know how anyone over 10 stone / 5'6 with long legs and double jointed hips gets comfy on the bloody thing anyway.

heh, its far from suited to my use anyway..

i am gonna have a go on the cb650r and 1000r as i love these style of bikes. i wonder whether a four pot suits but will try one.

unimpressed by the quality of the Yam but might try the XSR900 too. they still havent got my abs unit from Yam for this one but less of an issue now its less cold and wet.

this week.

CRF so close to ready. next week i think. ideally wants a tune and maybe main jet cleaned

Yeah i sat on one at the NEC and wasnt sold.. we will see.. i snapped a main jet on the crf today. It pops and bangs on decel and the jet was clagged but putting it back in my ham fist struck.. they are soft!

so it has a new 170 in now (richer) and still pops, maybe an exhaust leak?

i need to finish the ignition and use the ****ing thing .. should be this weekend. I have had loads of issues with the 3mm bullet connectors so am soldering them now then taping.. the ignition needs to hook into the kill switch so it works, i have diodes to make the rear light work off either front and its job done.. wheelie time

Pops = airleak somewhere most likely. Or a gasket someplace. I like pops and bangs

Wheelie - not happening for me, ever. Not unless i go to one of those schools where they have a roped down bike on the back of a trailer. If the Z1000 does that, i'll know the electronics are broken

It's easy to make a weelie with an MT09... far too easy in fact. Even in 3rd if need be.
